Due to the low temperatures of February and April, the production of this year’s cherries was damaged, while the ripening and market period was delayed by 10-12 days. There were damages in all the main cherry production regions such as Berat, Elbasan, Dibër, Korçë, etc. Early production or early varieties of up to 40% were severely damaged, while production of medium and late ripening varieties suffered damage of approximately 10-15%.
